Bowling "Competition"

We went for another bowling game at Selayang Mall (costs only rm4 per game).

Look at the scoreboard, I (ancak) got a strike!!

Wishing this ball will be lucky so I will get another strike...

Abang is trying to hide at the back of Aishah's hand, because he did get any strike.. hehehe...

Aishah, breathing all the air to try to get good score..

Another strike for me! Yeah!!

And the lucy winner is Asma'.. The winner will give everybody a treat at Mac Donald.. Yay!!!

Swimming Lesson

I did really want to learn how to swim since the day I almost drowned when I was 12.. But, the cost of a class will be quite expensive (....)

But on Thursday (8th dec), a friend of mine called me on the phone saying there is a class conducted in UIA that cost RM180 per 10 hours.. RM18 per hour is quite reasonable to me.. So i decided to do it.. We (abang n me) went out to find a suitable swimming suit.. We did find one at JJ but it costs RM199 (more than my lesson would cost me..) so I decided to put it on hold and went back home.

At home, after asking for abah's opinion (whether it's ok to wear a swimming suit and is it ok for me to go for swimming lesson), Asma' who heard our conversation told me that Mama had bought a swimming suit for herself (but we never know whether she had worn it or not, we heard about her wanting to join a class, but we don't know if she'd went to any..) So I guess, she must had bought it for me.. hahaha.. for her children laa.... n I'm the first to use it)

So, today is the third day of my lesson (and I'm getting darker due to the long exposion to the sunlight.. The first day was a short one because it was raining, but I learnt who to blow the air using the nose under the water. Second day, I learnt to swim across the pool (yg tak dalam laa...) using the floating board... and today I practiced more on swimming, this time without the floating board.. I can only surface once to breathe and once I'm under the water again, I can surface anymore.. I know I need a lot of practice on that...

Debat Piala DiRaja Akhir UITM vs UPM

Last Sunday we went to UKM for the Final of Debat DiRaja Bahasa Melayu.. My former UITM team against the UPM team.. The topic to be debated was quite tough: "Rumput Lebih Teguh dari Cengal" and we are the government's team. Means that the team has to show how the "rumput" is stronger than the "cengal" itself.. What happens was, they symbolized the "rumput" as the terrorists particularly in Afganistan n Iraq - their aspiration to get freedom (to rule their own country and so fourth) from the US. The US was refered to as "cengal". To us, it's a risky way to debate the topic and use the subject of terrorism as the symbol.. However, the team did all their best and they actually managed to make it clear that they are united in the way they supported each other and they know what they were talking about.. On the other hand, the UPM's team were not as bad.. Sometimes, I even nodded to some of their points...

It's the time to announce the winner... A surprise come to all the UITM supporters n debaters.. We won for English Royal Debate for the first time, and at the same time kick out the UIAM team (UIAM has won this competition for so many times, only for twice they were beateb by UKM's team. Then, they got the title back for some years but this year, we got it back! Congrats to the team!
Note:The Final of Royal Debate (English) was held the night before the prize giving ceremony.. It was UITM versus UIAM... And the results were only announced on Sunday.

Now, for Debat Bahasa Melayu, the MC announced that UITM is the winner, so this means that the UPM's team had lost.. We were so excited, the members of the UITM's team, went up the stage, received the prize from the UKM Vice-Chansellor.. followed by the second place winner.. We haven't done being so very excited when Acoy came to us to tell that the winner was wrongly announced... HAH!! Well, we were quite disappointed, but what to do, the adjudicators could have seen more than we know, they are the professionals... So, UPM is the Winner!

NOTE:

I went to UKM early in the morning (the competition started at 8am) with Abang and my brother Khalid.. Yat informed me the day before, so I saw Yat and Acoy yesterday... Gee, if only u told me you're here, maybe we could make it to see each other and enjoy the debate together.. ehehe..... And you could proudly say, "I'm with the UPM's team...HAHAHA!!" heheheh!

Aquaria KLCC

Today, we; Abang, Hannan, Amin, Amir (Abang's younger sister and brothers..) & Me, went to Aquaria KLCC... Wah, the ticket is quite expensive..!! But we did enjoy the visit... However, I still think that they should add more rare types of fish.... the one that we could never see here... (if that is possible, will the price of the ticket increases?.. hmmm..)

At the water fountain at KLCC Park.. Form left: Hannan, Amin and Amin...

Abang says he likes this tree so much of the view of the tree... and it's surroundings... I like it too..... :)

This is the only picture in the big aquarium that was taken using my Nokia 6670's camera.. Most of the pictures was taken by my old "undigital" camera... I don't know why but I still favour using the camera, even thought, everybody'd using it.. All my family members, my friends (Gee - with her Sony DIGITAL camera.. hehehe...), my students and even everybody (whom I saw) at Aquaria itself.. Anyway, this was taken in the Aqua Theatre and as u can see it's a SHARK... (as stated there, the one we see is 30% smaller than it's usual size, maybe because of the size of the glass..)

Abang n Hannan.
At the entrance, we're given a crossword puzzle - we need to explore and get all the answers and fill in the crossword.. Actually the contestants is supposed to be children under 12, but like us, we saw other adults were busily writing down the answers.. Anyway, we did spend a lot of time try to get the answers, but at the end they only gave us a tiny maynymuu little fish key-
chain..

Wah! No picture of me? ahahahah....!

A visit to Satay Kajang

We stopped by at Satay Kajang in Kajang on our way to my granma's house in Hulu Langat. While waiting for the order, we "played" around... :)

I'm wondering what will happen if this kereta kuda moves.. Hmm...

My Sayang can't hide his excitement of having satay for his lunch at rumah Nenek... No lah, he is excited because of me, not because of the satay... :p
At the back is a small "satay" museum which tells the history of satay Kajang, how satay started to be famous long time ago.. and all that...

Last Day of SPM 2005.

These are the happy faces of my students. They were about to sit for their last paper (EST) this morning.. From left: Faseha, Farhana (at the back), Zaitun, Farwa and Hanim.

Hanim, Faseha and their friend, revising for the last time..

The students started their final journey.. Good luck & All the best!!
